Travel Info Has anyone bee the the Royal Vista Beach Resort in Fort Lauderdale and can tell me about it? Travel Tips I've stayed there a few times and would definitely go back. It's a Fairfield timeshare resort and it's actually in Pompano Beach, just north of Ft. Lauderdale. There are 2 buildings, (only one is ocean front). It's an older hotel, I think it was built in the 1950's and was redone about 20 years ago but the rooms are big with full kitchens and lots of room. The master bedroom had a king size bed and whirlpool. The guest room had two double beds. The resort had three pools (two adult and one kiddie pool). There is a workout room with about 5 treadmills, a stationary bike, and weight machines. Off the main lobby there is a game room and two computers to check e-mail. The staff at the resort were all very friendly and helpful. The tiki bar on the beach was real nice too. There wasn't a lot to do (shopping or eating) within walking distance around the resort but if you're there for the beach, it really doesn't matter. |
