Is Bora Bora a good vacation visit? |
Travel Info I want to go for my graduate present... Travel Tips It is one of the most beautiful places on earth. It quite a long flight, however. This destination is better suited for couples. So you might want to take a good friend with you with whom you can enjoy the islands. One week at, say, Club Med is around $2,200.00, inclusive of meals, but exclusive of alcohol. Everything is super expensive. A T-shirt can run $95.00. A ferry to an adjacent island as much as a $105.00. A 12 exposure disposable camera, $35.00. Whatever you do, check it out thoroughly on line, and plan, plan, plan, as I have heard some horror stories. Inquire if they have air conditioning, or not. Believe me you'll need it for comfort and privacy. Some who travel to the Cook's Islands say it's just as beautiful, not so touristy, and a lot more inexpensive. Whatever you decide, have fun and stay safe! NOTE: One con is that Bora Bora has had underwater nuclear testing in the area. Check it out on line before you go to decide if the destinations still where you want to go. Well, it's not paradise, even though it may look like it. Others If you want to relax, otherwise it's kind of boring. Bora Bora = Boring Boring. It is beautiful but if you're young and want to party...go somewhere else. the answer is yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes Bora is beautiful and good i don't know if people there are good too First of all, Bora Bora is a part of French Polynesia not the Caribbean. With the exception of Club Med, I'd only suggest it to either people who want to totally get away from it all or for couples. It's not a party place and there aren't TONS of things to do. But if you love blue water, gorgeous beaches and friendly people, that's the place for you. Me. YESSSSSS, Excellent http://www.ytb.com/caribbeantoursandtrav... |
