Travel Info
Me and my husband are goign to st.croix in septemeber I checked on flights and they were 5oo for both of us...I didn't buy them casue we hadn't confirmed our stay yet and now they have doubled in price...Does anyone have an idea of when they will go down again (i know they fluctuate form week to week)...also have you been and what could you suggest for us to do...we are able to bring a nice amount of money but I would also like to do somethings that don't revolve around money or are not crazy expensive! Thanks!!!

Travel Tips
You can bring or rent snorkling stuff. St. Croix is famous for its snorkling and diving. In September, as long as there are no storms, the water is the calmest and great for diving. There is also a beautiful botanical garden to explore on the island.

We are going in September also. The prices have dropped about $50 from when we bought our tickets a month ago. Tripadvisor.com has a link under flights where you can put in your flight dates then search all the major ticket discounters without having to reenter the dates. We paid about $500 per person for direct flights to and from the island, but I have seen flights as cheap as $320 if you are willing to have a layover in PR. Source(s): tripadvisor.com
