Travel Info Which Caribbean island is the most romantic and nicest? Travel Tips I think Barbados is in the running here the people are some of the nicest and the most friendliest, with a very warm welcome. I celebrated my 50th birthday there and was made to feel very special. Not sure I agree with St Lucia went there 1999 and stayed at the Rex Papillion Reduite Beach very nice hotel but lot of outside noise throuhout the night. I and a lot of others found the St Lucians to be distant, uninterested and a lot of times very rude. Jamaica wow party party party we stayed at The Royal Decameron in a round beach front cottage ( fabulous ) the Jamaicans are so friendly had a brilliant time. Been to Cuba twice stunning white beaches and crystal clear sea thats warm and calm and Cuban people are fantastically friendly and kind. Top of my list tho' would be the Maldives everytime....... the most beautifull, the most romantic and the most perfect place ive been so far. They say that Tobago is one of th nicest for honeymoons, but I haven't been there. I loved St. Barth, found it really romantic. Anguilla is very peaceful if you want to rest. St. Marteen has,by far, the best restaurants in the small locality of Grand Case, and some nice beaches. Aruba's beaches are great and it has nice hotels. Jamaica is fun, with great hotels (some exclusively for couples), nice places to visit in the day (like waterfalls and old plantations) and an agitated nightlife; a little dangerous though to be wondering by yourself outside the hotels and resorts; almost everyone will offer to sell you weed to the extreme that it becomes boring and annoying. |
