Why is there never anyone swimming in the sea at st marten julianna airport? |

Travel Tips This is the exact spot where the aircraft empties it's toilets! Seriously, although I enjoy watching these videos, people shouldn't be allowed to stand in the flight path but, as is always the case, it will continue until there is an accident & then it will be too late. The pilot has quite enough to do landing the plane without having to worry about beheading someone. Others I guess the government would prbably say something like "Terrorists can swim, too..." Maybe it's because it's right next to a frickin' AIRPORT. i think you have that view whenever a plane is landing - perhaps the people that live there are used to it and do that but the people that are tourists because it is a major tourist destination because of the landings go there to watch the planes and are not in the water when the planes do land - they might be a little scared too due to feeling the thrust of the engines on the water. Could it just be that no-one wants to be sun bathing quits so close to a flight path - with all those lovely aviation fuel fumes and the slight chance that if it all goes wrong, you will be kiled? No, It's kinda of in the middle of everything, most people go over there to the restaurants and go to the more quiet beaches near the hotels. There's no shortage of inviting swimming spots in St. Martin. |
