West Indies st martin Holiday? |
Travel Info Hi I am going to the West Indies soon, an island called St Martin which is half a French owned and half owned by the neitherlands. My question is do you need any sort of vaccines. I found one site that says you should, but others that say you don't unless you come from a country with a epedmeic which would be the same for any country. I am going on august 17th so I guess I need to find out pretty soon! Travel Tips no you don't need a vaccine(if you're american). the holiday there is in feb, but you can take a ferry to anguilla which is about a twenty min. ferry ride away they have their holiday in august. people from all over the caribbean come to participate. the best time to go is for jouve morning which is usually early august. you get up early morning and everyone dances in the streets behind different bands for about 4-5 hours. really fun at this time of year, st marrten is a bit slow, but there are three clubs near the airport which are very nice and they're open everynight. hope this helps Source(s): frequent visitor Other Travel Tips |
