Would you prefer St.Martin or St. Thomas? |
Travel Info Would you prefer St.Martin or St. Thomas? Travel Tips it depends on what ur willing to deal with. st.Thomas is a us territory; so all u need right now is a valid us id to travel there. theirs good shopping too, if u want it, u can find it in st.Thomas; and its duty free, that means no taxes on it( to a point of course;lol). oh; same money!!!!!!!!! you don't have to change your money. the do drive on the left; which isn't that hard. it wasn't hard for me to drive on the right, lol. st.martin; the island of 2 city's. st.martin has 2 sides; there st.martin, and then there's st.maarten. 1 side is dutch, the other is french; they both have great things to offer; but it is a foreign island. so u will need a passport. you will have to change your money, for both sides, but there are some retailers that take us, lol. so do some homework and some research; and then decide. Source(s): born and raised in st.thomas; father side of family is from the anguailla, st.martin islands; so i been there quite a bit. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/st.maarten... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/saint_thoma... Other Travel Tips i'd prefer..THE JONAS BROTHERS! I like St. Thomas. But I love to take the ferry over to St. John for the day. 2/3 of the island is a national park. More beautiful beaches than days of the week. |
