Looking 4 Caribbean islands with night life, activies and safety. Also, what is the best time to travel? |
Travel Info I am going to talk to a travel agent too about this next week. My fiance and I are in out mid 20's and are looking for somewhere that is fun but relaxing too. I dont want to go anywhere real shady. I realize there is crime everywhere. Any suggestions would help. Need sugguests on travel time too. Since July-Nov is hurricane season when is the best time to go. Please let me know thanks!!! Travel Tips Puerto Rico is great. There is tons of nightlife. Including clubs, bars & restaurants, cafes, festivals all the time, parties, concerts & Casinos. It is also relatively safe b/c it is part of the US, so there are lots of cops that enforce US laws. & this means no pasport. There are beautiful beaches, water sports, a rainforest, bioluminescent bays & more too. I mean think about it. What group of people party more than puerto ricans? Check it out for yourself. I love it, maybe you will too!! Source(s): www.gotopuertorico.com http://www.gastronomad.net/articles/2007... http://www.cancunsteve.com/prico2do.html... Other Travel Tips Best time to go is December-April. That leaves you two to decidewhich month you prefer to go. I'd highly recommend Barbados - the nightlife is great. People are friendly, and it's safe, too. Just go out and enjoy. I've been there 6 times and plan on returning maybe this summer, if not, then some time after that. :) http://www.barbados.org/ Because tourism is the lifeblood of the islands, crimes against tourists (other than petty thefts) are not common in most islands, though a higher rate of crime in general is somewhat linked to the islands with more nightlife, casinos etc. as those islands tend to be the more populous ones. Tell your travel agent what kind of night life you want(casinos? dancing? music?) and what kind of activities you want (great beach? watersports? sightseeing?) and espcially tell them your budget, and they'll recommend the best place for you. Tell them of other places you've been that you've liked or hotels you've liked and that will help them gauge what kind of trip would be best. One island that tends to please most everyone is Aruba. Though it's not physically beautiful like a St Lucia, it's not in the hurricane belt, so you can pretty much go anytime, the beaches are fine and the night life plentiful, and they have deluxe hotels, but also more reasonable one's for everyone's budget. I'm a travel agent St Lucia's Rodney Bay area. St. Lucia is a very beautiful island with friendly locals, beautiful beaches, and good nightlife. Its a good place to visit year round, I don't think they are affected by hurricanes. Another great place to visit is Puerto Rico, I absolutely love old San Juan, and there is so much to do and see. |
