If i wanted to sail the carribean and centeral america with my wife what size sailed yacht would i need?

Travel Tips
I'd say 30' with a low draft - we took a 52' through Belize down to Rio Dulce in Guatemala and had a ball. 52' is plenty of room for 6, so a 25 - 30' should be enough.

enjoy and post a travelogue on virtual tourist!

I've only done freshwater sailing and our boat is 25'. I would not want to live onboard a boat that size for very long. I'd say a 30' or larger would make a difference. The 40' + size boats are awesome.
How fat is your wife. I would need that info to calculate the size of the boat.
