Has anyone ever taken a Sandals all inclusive vacation? Where, and how was the experience? |
Travel Info Has anyone ever taken a Sandals all inclusive vacation? Where, and how was the experience? Travel Tips We've been to the Sandals, Montego Bay, twice. Lots of fun. There are 3 Sandals resorts in Montego Bay and if you stay at one, you can play at all three. We stayed at the Sandals Montego Bay, Jamaica. It's near the airport, but it was the first Sandals resort. Very well established, great staff, lot of activities. The only drawback is the noise of the planes, but you get used to it. Don't recommend the Sandals Inn. We visited the Royal Caribbean and had dinner that the Thai restaurant there -- HIGHLY recommend it! If you go to any of the other Sandals in Jamaica (Ocho Rios, Negril, etc.), make arrangements to spend the last day at one of their resorts in Montego Bay. You'll be closer to the airport and will be able to maximize your vacation by utilizing the facilities until the last minute. Also, if you fly Air Jamaica, you can check in for your flight and check your bags right at the hotel. There is a shower and changing area so you can change just before leaving for the airport. Others I went to Sandals Halcyon in St Lucia 7 years ago...it was nice and worth the money. My husband and I went To Sandals, Montego bay and loved it so much we went back 3 years later. The people are so nice and the food was great. I agree with what the other guy said about Sandals Inn. We visited 2 of the other resorts and didn't like them at all!!!! Right now we are planning a family vacation and since we loved sandals so much, we will probably go to Beaches( its owned by sandals). Hope that helps! Honeymoon and anniversary trip |
