What are some good singles resorts?

I'm single and want to go on vacation but I don't want to go to a sleezy pick up joing I just want to go to a resort where I won't feel like I'm a big looser because I'm alone. Someplace with a beach. Any suggestions?

I would recommend the Club Mediterranean on the island of Martinique, Caribbean. It's a singles paradise. Lots of sporting and arts activity. If you don't pick up here you're definitely on the wrong planet. The island is a dependency of France. The currency is the Franc and at the club you use beads not money for purchases. Buffet meals and lots of red wine with every meal. Dancing starts at about midnight and there's a special breakfast room for late sleepers. I understand that there is also one in Cancun , Mexico. Go to Cabarete in the Dominican Republic. Great town with a whole day life and nightlife on the beach. Easy to meet people and it is generally a sports minded crowd from all over the world.
