Travel Info Has anyone been to St James Club in Antigua? Getting married there in November.? Travel Tips Yeah I have been there two years ago. I was there for my wedding. I got food poisoning and had the squits for the wedding ceremony! I'd cancel if I was you mate Others Which Antigua is it? Antigua Guatemala? If it is I recommend that you get there. It is beautiful plus very romantic. The place to enjoy your wedding and honeymoon. It is peacefull, Romanic, Safe, and economic. I am saving to go get married there. Go Ahead and congratulations. Yes I have stayed there. Its a really nice place and its all inclusive. The service was excellent and the people were really friendly. What I know is that it is a bit remote from the main town, St. Johns and they maintain a strict dress code (ties, jackets for dinner, etc.) I had friends book in there for my wedding and one couple switched hotels to the Dickenson Bay area (southwest coast) to be more involved in the activities (we were honeymooning at Sandals and our other guests were staying on that side of the island). My other friends ended up having to use room service for their meals since they came to be comfortable not formal! Yes - it is very up-market. The best beaches are nearer to Hawksbill.Weather can be unpredictable in November but you will enjoy the island. It is beautiful. Explore St.Johns the capital, and especially the old wooden church. |
