That will give you a good range of resort properties. You will want to book at least a month in advance for cheaper rates. Airlines usually increase their rates within 21, 14, and 7 days. If you wait too long, you will have to worry about the trip selling out. aaa.com also has a lot of discounted vacation for its members. I barely use them for roadside assistance, but have really gotten my money's worth from travel discounts. Others You should consider Puerto Rico, it's great, very tropical and has all the ammenities of the states, plus you don't need a passport. Antigua is a wonderful destination.
