Bahamas Holiday ???

hiya me and my boyfriend are looking for a lovely place to stay that is very romantic- lovely beaches - but has to have nightlife as we are only young - where would you advise on going to stay in the bahamas and have anybody been - what was it like ? we dont have lots of money - but would like to stay in a 3* to 4* hotel ???

The Caribbean is generally quite expensive to go to. How much are you thinking of spending?
In my opinion, St Lucia is the nicest of the Caribbean islands, but you'll struggle to find anywhere to saty under 拢700 each.

I found Cuba to be the cheapest, but its not a particularly nice place.

I dont know where you should go but i have been to the bahamas and i thought they were WAY overated
Forget it it's ridiculously expensive but is everything you dream of. It's a rich man's playground.
Just be prepared for the people to be RUDE!
I have given it two chances...I will never go back...Nassau and Freeport SUX!

The best site to research resorts is TripAdvisor.com. Just type in the Bahamas in the search area and you can see all of the hotels on the island. You can see what amenities they offer, read trip reports from previous visitors, view "candid traveler photos" that they have posted, and ask questions about the island in the "forums" section. You can also look at other attractions and activities the area has to offer. It is a tremendous resource for vacation research.
Cancun has great beaches and tons of nightlife. As for romantic, it would depend on the resort you book. Bahamas is pretty pricey as people have said.
