When is the best time of year to go to the cayman islands? |
Travel Info Specifically, Seven Mile Beach, GR. I am looking at going for a week. Possibly staying at the Westin, any travel tips? Advice on best season and cheepest seasonal rates. Travel Tips I went to Grand Cayman around the first of December. It was off season, so the flight was cheaper, and the weather was beautiful! Others The general answer is if college kids can go (not in school, spring breaks, etc.) that's in season and so it's more expensive. The rest of the times are off season and cheapest. That's the reality. Really the only off season times are mainly between October-mid-December for all the Caribbean because of college kids and rich retired people getting away from the cold and taking their yachts down to get them worked on duty-free. Off season is considered sept-nov beacuse of the hurricanes, but i have found the best time to visit any island is Sept. Although it comes to being close to peak hurricane season most hurricanes usually hit around August. You will get cheaper flighs, accomodations and on top of that really get a feel for what the island is all about without all the tourist. In December |
