Travel Info we are looking for a condo or beach house, on a nice beach, and are open to insights to enjoying our vacation on the grand cayman, we have never been there, have a 3 year old grand son with us, we like to relax and eat out, we are not partiers, just family fun, any suggestions? Travel Tips For a quieter time, I would suggest the East End or Cayman Kai areas. There are several nice properties. The Reef Resort offers condos in a resort setting on a lovely beach. Other beach homes are stand alone properties. Both areas are well removed from the busier Seven Mile Beach. It is about an hour long drive to most of the shopping and other attractions along the west side. There are a few restaurants scattered around the eastern districts, but having a condo makes it easy to buy some grocieries and prepare some of your meals yourself. Many beach homes and condos rent through one of a few agencies, or you can find many rented directly by the owners with a simple web search. |
