When is the least expensive time to fly to the Caribbean?

Travel Tips
It really depends where you are flying from if it's expensive or cheaper.

But as a guide, I would say July, August, Sept and Oct because it's hurricane season. It's normally hot and can be rainy during the summer.

Good Luck with your research. If you go during the summer months just buy travel insurance to have as a back up plan.

hurricane season. Any offtime travel is best for price.
From where? It is a big body of water with lots of destinations it would make a difference where you are going to some degree. I find that winter in the northern hemisphere (where I live is the most expensive and summer the least.)....in general.
It depends on from where and to where but September/October are almost certainly going to be cheapest...it's not cold and miserable in the northern hemisphere, there are no school holidays and (depending on the island's location) there's a strong chance of hurricanes.

I've recently booked to go to Grenada at Easter for a week. A week in May would have been half the price (I checked a few dates, in comparison, so that I can plan for next year). The price goes back up again just at the start of the (UK) school holidays and I suspect it remains at a similar price throughout August untiil the schools go back again.
Flight price quotes checked in the last week.
Generally hurricane season as it's the off-season for the Caribbean.

If you can get away in short notice, the best thing I would suggest is to sign up on sites that show airfare prices to and from and watch the prices which usually are for like travel within a few weeks to a month. Sherman travel is a good site for that along with Travelocity and the others.

The other thing to remember with airfare is what the cost will be for hotels while there. With that in mind, Hurricane season (mid-October through Mid-December is the best time.
It depends on the weather and prices. For example, if there's a hurricane season, I wouldn't want to go. I can get cheapest deals but it's all about searching and comparing, whether it be winter, spring, summer, fall. I went in April for only $610.00. I went in February for like $670.00 (3 weeks) -- can be up to a month. Both are last year. For up to a month, say for the whole month of February to maybe the beginning of March for only $754.60. All in Canadian funds. It all depends on fare costs.
