Rainfall in the Summer Months? |
Travel Info Hi, Besides the ABC Islands (Aruba, Bonaire, and Curacao), what islands are low in rainfall in the summer. Any help would be appreciated. Even some countries have different climates and rain seasons. In the Dominican Republic there is NO rainy season on the North Coast. The North Coast has NEVER been hit by a hurricane either but does get affected by tails of a hurricane therefore getting a lot of rain when one passes by. The South and East of the Country does get direct hits by hurricanes and does have rainy seasons. That being said we had a very dry hurricane season this year because nothing came close with the exception of one passing on the south coast and that gave us 2 days of rain on the north coast. Dominican Republics North Coast (Airport Puerto Plata) from Punta Rucia to Cabrera is very dry in the summer. |
