How do i get into the world premier for pirates of the Caribbean 3? |
Travel Info How do i get into the world premier for pirates of the Caribbean 3? Travel Tips Sorry to answer a question with another question, but where is it? It opens in the United States two days after it opens in Europe, so I'm wondering if the world premiere will also be in Europe? Is it debuting in Cannes? I think I read something about it being shown there, off-competition, but maybe I am thinking about the new Stephen Sodenberg! Regarding film premieres in general, you have to have an invitation or get corporate tickets - or win a competition. Check with the studio re the latter - get on their mailing list. I'm on the mailing list of a few studios, reason being they remind me when films are opening and when they are coming out on DVD, but many times they also give you a chance to enter a contest to attend a film premiere (travel and accommodation included). I've never actually won a contest (!), but have attended about a dozen premieres. Every one of them was very exciting - you just feel very special - and there are post-premiere parties which are very elaborate affairs which are loads of fun. Others I WANT IN!!!! get a job at the movie theater it's playing at? I wish I knew other than being rich and famous! I am sure we will all be watching this site!!!! There is not necessarily a World Premiere, but there are premiere in individual countries. The film doesn't come out at the same time everywhere. The premiere hear in the U.S. is supposedly May 19 at Disneyland in CA... that is not completely confirmed, but there have been a lot of reports of that. If you want to see the movie then you will have to wait til it comes out on May 25 because those who see it on the 19th are usually celebrities with special invites. When it gets closer to May there may be contests to get in to see it though. Don't be completely disappointed though.. You can still get in to be along side of the red carpet to see all the stars. If you do that you need a ticket to get to Disneyland and be there around 6:30am to get anywhere close to the red carpet. Thats what I am doing. lol |
