Where can I find a really good beach in the Carribean/Central America? |
Travel Info I go on vacation every year to different places with nice beaches. This year I want to hit up something carribean/latin american. I've got some criteria, so please give me some suggestions along the following guidlines... - Secluded, i.e. not a big resort town like Cancun or Puerta Vallarta. Something off the beaten path would be great. - Pristene- I'm a swimmer, not a surfer - Relatively affordable. I'm a starving student. Thanks! Travel Tips Check out Curacao... secluded, quiet beaches all around the south-western coast. http://www.curacao.com Others dominican republic. Punta cana. Dominica, Belize,Costa Rica,Guatemala and Panama. check out this site for hotel ideas and reviews http://www.tripadvisor.com Have a great trip. The US Virgin Islands are a good first choice. You won't need a passport, and it is fairly quiet. The British Virgin Islands would be next. Bonaire is fairly inexpensive (but the airfare isn't). One of the safest is Grand Cayman; it is busy but not crowded, but it is expensive. Probably the best value are the USVI. Come to Antigua you've got 365 EXCELLENT ones to choose from. If you don't believe me check out http://www.antiguanice.com |
