Is Great Exuma, Bahamas better than Providenciales, Turks & Caicos as far as buying property--for the future? |
Travel Info If I were to purchase a decent amount of area in either island for building a large property--like a resort--, would it be better to have a five-star property on Great Exuma or Providenciales? Please don't suggest any other places. Also, another factor to include would be the beaches--which are better? Travel Tips Exuma isnt a great place to buy property because all of the property there is generation property, most of the island was owned by a plantation owner and when he died he left his land to his slaves. It is possible to buy land there but its a bit difficult. Both islands have great beaches, so its pretty much doing your research on which island would suit you best based on the environment Others I think the beaches in Providenciales are beautiful. Grace Bay beach. But to be honest with you, the building boom has been going on for the last few years. There are many 5 star properties right now. The Mandalay was built but couldn't sell their condos. Most of the proprieties on that beach are condos. I think you missed the chance. I don't know about Great Exuma, but I hear the island is very nice especially The Four Season Hotel. Good Luck in your research. |
