Yes it is. Curacao is one of those places that has a bit of everything to it. Nice beaches, beautifyl nature, shopping, diving, restaurants, nice hotels, and muuch much more.

If you are into diving or snorkeling, it's the best. It usually takes 2 planes to get there from NY. Where are you flying from?
It's a dutch island. I would recommend the Marriot or the Hilton. Both have the all-inclusive option.
