How do i plan an eco-vacation to guyana?

how do i begin to plan for an eco-vacation to guyana? i was born there but raised in the states and my family doesnt really know about the eco-toursim side of it that much. i want to go into the interior on a hiking tour but havent had any luck finding any sites that tell me how to arrange this. i know i would have to be flown there and back. also any recommendations on where to find great local art would be nice.

Just went there last year. You will not be disappointed.

Go to www.iwokrama.org. They have a marvelous field station in the interior and are very friendly. Highly recommended!

Make sure you also tell them that you want to visit Aranaputa and climb Clarence Mountain. Its breathtaking!
