Yes,it is,if your going to invest and make your self a business,out of the opportunities that presents it self,Belize is a large country in the Central American area its approx, 22,000 km and more.small population,( 200,000) everyone who has connections in business pretty much knows who is who,so if your well off financially go,but Belize is a mainly agricultural economy,Manufacturing and tourism do make up its economy also.Remember crime and coruption is an issue as Belize is still a developing third world nation. Other Travel Tips If you have money. Belize city is your typical tourist town, but once out of the city it is very nice. They speak mostly english and they use ameican dollars. If I were to live there, I probably would look into one of the Cayes. I was a divemaster for a resort on Chapel Caye for about five years and I loved it. As in the previous post, there were a lot of investment opportunities. It has become a berthing spot for many of the cruise lines as well. So there are many opportunities for development. |
