What is your favorite island in the Caribbean? I've been to 16 islands and I think Aruba, Barbado's,St. Thoma |
Travel Info s are my favorite. I was nearly robbed by a gang of rasta wanna be. And Martinque they use the bathroom in the Streets. And they come crack in the most beautiful place I've seen. The natives really ruined it for on those two islands. Travel Tips You obviously have not been to Antigua. check out http://www.adventureantigua.com/...... and http://www.antiguanice.com Others I like the Grand Cayman (the largest island in the Cayman Islands) the best. It's gorgeous there; they have wonderful and fun beaches; they have an excellent economy (and good shopping!); reasonably good food; and lovely sunsets. They speak English very well there, too. I've been to 12 islands, and I like Anguilla the best. No large cruise ships, unspoiled beaches, friendly people, little crime. Just MHO. i would have 2 say St. Martin, its beautiful! i stayed at Royal Palm Beach Resort. i thought about going back there myself this year.You have 2 drive the island, its gorgeous! when traffics low it takes about 45 mins. I loved it! the beaches are great! I've only been to about 8-9 (but planning another cruise for this summer as well) since a couple of my stops don't count as islands. I've never been to St Lucia which many people say they love, but I have to agree with St Thomas. I've been there several times and LOVE IT. there is so much to do. you can wander around and shop and find the great deals on jewelry. You can take the chair lift up and see the whole island. You can get away from the tourists over at Meaghans Bay. I just love St Thomas. Cozumel is one I am definitely going back to though. I could have easily spent a solid week there. I only got to snorkel and kayak while I was there though so I've got to go back at least one more time before I can compare it to St Thomas. the leeward islands east of porto rico... Bonaire is my favorite because I am an avid scuba diver. It is diver's paradise! |
