Ok, first, are you reeeaaaly fixed on going to Sandals?
If not, try "Excellence Riviera Cancun". (used to be Secrets Excellence). This place is soooo cooool. I cannot wait to go back. It's about 20 mins outside of Cancun MX. It is an all inclusive, adult only. assuming you are not taking kids, since Sandals is adults only also. Also try Excellence resorts.
Go to Tripadvisor.com. This site has great forums on things to do and places to stay. If you are set on Sandals, look up each country (island) and go to the hotel section for it. It will have reviews for each hotel from people who have actually stayed there. Also pictures from the hotel and pictures taken by guests who have posted their reviews for their stay.

I had always wanted to go to Sandals then i came across Secrets. The reviews were so much better, even comparing the two, we had to try it. Wouldn't change a thing.

Also depending on when you are going, both Secrets Resorts and Excellence resorts are expanding into Jamaica. On the other hand, Sandals is going into Cancun.
