Travel Info I'd like like to know about Bucharest Romania basically about the people, their religion, the currency of money like the conversion of their money in the Philippines and everything about Bucharest Romania. Pls. do help me. Thanks.. Travel Tips Bucharest is a city of about 2 million people located in Eastern Europe; it is the capital of Romania and the country's largest economical and cultural center. The people living in Bucharest are mainly Romanian, but there are also several other ethnic groups (traditionally) living there: Gypsies, Hungarians, Germans, Turks, Jews, Greeks. In recent years a number of immigrants from Asia ( mainly from China, but also from Pakistan, India, Bangladesh) have settled in the city as well as some American, English, Italian, Spanish etc. people that have businesses here. Most of the city's population ( 96%) are nominally Eastern Orthodox Christians. In addition to that there are also some Catholic Christians, Muslims, various types of Protestant and Evangelical Christians and many other smaller cults. But in reality only a quarter of the population actually practices any of these religions; the rest are secular. The currency in Romania and of course in Bucharest is the Leu ( plural Lei; it's pronounced Ley). I think 1 Leu is about 20 Philipines pesos. The old dictator Ceaucescu has built quite a lot of huge monstrous concrete buildings that can't be demolished. Been there Bucharest Romania: - gorgeus and cheap girls, and I'm not talking about prostitutes;)) - hard traffic, but it's alot easier if you know to say" bagati-ai pula'n mata" or "cine pizda mati ti-a dat permisul?" lool. - grate for business, everything is costing allot there, people are working for about 200-300-400 euro per month. - house pricing starting from 1000 euro square meter. - the money used here are named "LEI" "lion in english" and are about 1/3 from an euro. - if you want to make a business partner invite him to a erotic massage saloon. I guarantee is a hit. - don't fall in love, is always for the money. |
