After graduating, I'm planning on going on a trip to Holland for about two weeks- how much would it cost? |
Travel Info I'll be travelling with between 1 to 5 friends... we all have relatives in Holland, Bulgaria, Germany and France, and we're planning to stay at their places. We want to visit museums, a concert or two, travel by train or bus, and of course, begin our mornings with a joint (and end it etc.). Not including the flight tickets, approximately, how much would the trip cost? Travel Tips Museums are relatively inexpensive, like between $7 and $35. Joints are about 5 euros (I think that's almost $6), but the weed is really good so one is likely to satisfy all of you in the am. Trams are super cheap. You can buy an all day pass for, like 1.20 euros in Amsterdam (I think that makes it about equal to $2). And I think the train pass was somewhere around 4.5 euros in Berlin. And if you want to go to a concert that's further away, the long distance train rides are pretty cheap too. Well, from Berlin to Amsterdam at the last minute was over $100. BUT - Everything else is REALLY expensive! If you order a soft drink at a restaurant, it's like $3 and you don't get refills like you do here. All the food is much more expensive, as well as drinks, so be prepared for that. Coffee is generally between 2 and 4 euros a cup, but it's really good coffee so it's worth it. And at least you don't have to tip, lol.
