Do i need transit visa to pass from Budpest to Kiev? |
Travel Info I m not an european nor an american, iwant to know if the Malev Hungarian Airlines provieds transit visa to goto ukraine. Let me phrase this question again, If bu y a tickect for Malev Hungarian Airlines,does it come with a transit visa for some hours. cheers o Travel Tips You're not very clear but IF you are flying from country A, will stop for a few hours in Budapest and then connect to a flight to Kiev, you will be "in transit" - you will not leave the airport and therefore you will not need a visa. Your luiggage will be routed from country A to Kiev, via Budapest and you will not see it again until you get to Kiev. If you want to leave the airport, between flights, that is a different matter and you will need to get a visa - that would not be provided by the airline as there's no guarantee that you would return to take your onward flight. FYI, only US airports require you to collect your luggage and go through immigration even if you're only in transit. Others You need to ask the airline.
