Cost of drinking and eating in Amsterdamn? |
Travel Info How much does it cost to eat and drink, and perhaps smoke the old canabis, in Amsterdamn?! Also can anyone recomend some cheap accomodation? Travel Tips In september 2006 a beer in a tourist cafe was 4 euros, a joint in a coffee shop 3 something and you could have a menu (3 courses) in a nice restaurant for 25. Accommodation was expensive, though. Check Lonely Planet Guides, they offer very good suggestions. Others they have vending machines....put a euro in & a pie or pasty pops out,,,,,very nice I thought it was quite reasonable for food. Very similar prices to the uk. lager may be a bit more expensive, but if you have time, definitely go to the Heineken Experience......excellent!. Smoke is a lot cheaper than the uk and readily available in coffee shops. you get stoned, you dont care how much anything costs..or where youre going to sleep... are you going to sleep? mad brother whose been to the dam says the weed is expensive and the city stinks... like living in an open sewer, was his initial description... and accomodation is expensive, catch the train to belgium its around 10euro... |
