Would you like to live abroad one day? |
Travel Info In 15 years from now the Baltic states may be the new 'Japan' with a exploding economy right now. Would you like to live there and work there some day? Travel Tips I live abroad right now. Making the transition to living abroad is not that simple which is why alot of people I know have talked about it but not actually done it. Expatriates still have day to day chores to carry out. It doesn't matter where you are in the world. I remember when I lived in Cyprus people thought we were on a permanent holiday just because it is a holiday location.lol! To get the most benefit, you really need to immerse yourself, learn the language etc. Those who go for financial reasons might find themselves disappointed. I actually came across alot of disillusioned businesspeople when I lived In Japan and Hong Kong. I'm living in Slovakia now, and haven't come across a single British person living here in two years. So it can also be isolating! I'm sure it is similar for some expatriates living in the Baltics. However, there are also many benefits, and for me it has been a challenging experience. Others Its always exciting to explore uncharted territory. . . Yes, I would like to live abroad but not when i`m of working age...when i retire....i hate working when the suns shining here so it would kill me if i had to do it when abroad. yeah, sure! no i went for a visit or two ... lithuainia.. latvia.. not very nice cold.. cold people.. inexpensive at the moment but will soon rise... most are over here now anyway bleeding us dry... is this a invite can u pick me up in 20 mins No - I can't say I would, though I wouldn't mind moving to a hotter country - quietish seaside town. |
