What are the must see sights in Europe?

I'm planning a trip to Europe. In your experience what are the must sees/dos? I know sme things but something off the beaten path would be really nice.

Something off the beaten path?

Cinque Terre, Italy.
Krakow, Poland.
Sarajevo, Bosnia.
Others
Eifle Tower, Big Ben, anything in Rome.

Off the beaten path would be Prague without a doubt. Amsterdam is interesting to say the least.
Amsterdam! Just got back and loved it! Red light district! woohoo!
