Travel Info Which city is better for a travel destination: Vienna, Prague or Budapest? Travel Tips Prague is the most beautiful. Thou Budapest is the most cultural i think... in budapest you kinda get away from the more touristy end of things. Me and my friends did a couple days in each of those cities... maybe you can do all three, its a nice way to see 3 great cities then take the train to connect between them (which isnt too far, only a few hrs). Me and my friends had the most fun in budapest and it was also the cheapest, thou Prague was the prettiest and had the best food. Have fun whichever you decide. Others vienna rocks! Vienna Prague - I heard it has a lot of interesting places to see and things to do. Also has a very active nightlife. Prague would be my favorite. Vienna is lovely but very cosmopolitan and expensive; frankly if you're stuck on Austria, Salzburg is more interesting. Budapest (at least last time I was there) was still recovering from years of neglect but had some fascinating historical sites and a GREAT spa. If you wanted to hit both Vienna and Budapest, there are river cruises that float from one to the other....... But Prague has wonderful archictecture, great music, terrific food and is not so expensive. Also really friendly people. My first choice would be Prague, then Vienna, then Budapest. i'd say Prague, but wherever you choose to go have fun!! |
