Which country should I choose?

Travel Info
To go on vacation, is it best to go to Germany, Greece or Amsterdam. Considering food, scenic spots and shopping (designer), of course. Suggest a city.

Travel Tips
OHH finally a question I can answer. I can only speak for Germany (as I live here). Aiming to help you and not to the 10 points I will provide as much as I can regarding Germany. Germany is a very safe country, it gives you better value for your money and currently has a spectacular weather and sunshine (which is kind of odd). I remember going to Florence and Rome, and it was not so good trying to keep the camera and wallet on sight the whole time which actually worked as we were not robbed. When other say you will spend a bit more in Greece, they mean a lot more.

Cities suggested

Definitely Berlin. Berlin is not even half as old as Paris, it does not have the expensive flair of New York, Tokyo or London. It is also not a city of millions like Rio and almost half of the people live on wellfare. What makes Berlin the best is the feeling of pure power (not opulence or arrogance). You can feel how Berlin is regaining its forgotten glory (please dont think that Germany will start a World War again).

Berlin has the most modern Mall of Europe, it has tons of museums, cultural diversity, history that you can literally breathe and it is extremely cheap (if you want it to save money). You can also live in luxury (which is still a lot cheaper than any other of the before mentioned cities) and shopping designer clothes, especially Boss, is cheaper with absolutely the same quality. In the KDW (Kaufhaus des Westens) you can go from one corner to the other finding YSL, Brioni, Armani, Versace, Jimy Choo etc... There is no beach but you can travel on the rivers (there are 2). It offers an excellent connection to other cities for prices you wouldn't believe and the people are really nice.

Another citiy I would suggest is Leipzig, the city I live in. Leipzig has only 500,000 inhabitants but it is not comparable to any other city. Leipzig is even more inexpensive than Berlin. It can boast history like few other 500,000 inhabitant towns. Johann Sebastian Bach lived 27 years here until his dead. Goethe, Nietzsche and Leibniz all studied in the now almost 600 year old University. The trade fair hosts the biggest games convention in Europe and the best part for you is the city center. No other citiy in Europe will offer so many shopping stores within the city center. In less than a 10 minutes walk you can find whatever you want regarding clothes, from Zara, H&M and C&A, to Boss, Zegna, Ferragamo, Hermes etc... and it is even cheaper than in Berlin. Staying in the Westin or the Marriott both 5 stars hotels in a deluxe single room will cost you less than 鈧?00 per night. Leipzig also has the biggest one way trainstation in Europe which actually also holds more than 150 stores. Night life is also incredible, since Leipzig is a University city, plenty of young people to see. Leipzig is the best "hidden secret", as it is not crowded or polluted at all .

Well those two I would suggest. However there are plenty of German cities that are worthwhile, like Munich (Oktoberfest is the bomb), Heidelberg, Cologne (especially during the festival, Bonn, Dusseldorf, L眉beck, Hamburg, Weimar etc.. Munich is really opulent so if you want a slightly higher variety of designer clothes go to Munich (but be prepared to spend a bit more as Munich is not as cheap as Berlin or Leipzig).

As a last tips, try to book everything as early as possible and try to come to the cities when there are events (it is a bit crowded but it is tons of fun) i.e. (Oktoberfest in Munich, Fasching in K枚ln, Honkey Tonk in Leipzig, Love Parade in L眉beck (it moved from Berlin this year) etc..

Well, if only two more people tell you this information about Greece and Amsterdam you will be set.

Others
Definitely Greece. You can do everything there: sightseeing, shopping, nice food, nice people and good sunshine.
you trying to tell everyone how much money you have at your disposal?
I suggest the Island of St. Marten which is half Dutch and half French. Stay at the Alamanda resort. The beach is breathtaking. Go around December through May. I did this for 10 days and it was totally fantastic. The only down side is phone calls are expensive and Sprint does not work on the island.
go to croatia trust me you will love it.....try split or zargreb.the coast line is amazing.
Write the countries down on a peice of paper and draw it out of a hat!!!!!!!!!!!
I think the least expensive of these would be Germany. But if you're willing to spend a little more Id say go to Greece! There is sooo much rish history there. Just looking at websites on Greece is breathtaking. Greece is also very romantic, if you wanna go with your hubby or bf. Amsterdam I dunno much about. Interesting country so it seems. The food in Greece I hear is among the best in the world! Many American foods we love today are derived from their culture.

Good luck and have fun!
