Using internet cafes in europe, is it safe to do banking?

Travel Tips
I only did it a few times while abroad, and I didn't have problems, but that is not to say that it's safe. If you can, have a relative back home deal with it from their home computer. My mom paid my credit cards out of my account, and transfered money when I needed. Just an added security. On a side note, be sure to cross out your credit card number that appears on a lot of receipts. They don't have to "x" out all but the last 4 digits as we do in the States. I had a few friends get their number stolen that way, and it was no fun to deal with from across an ocean. Source(s): used to live there
Other Travel Tips
I wouldn't trust any open/public wireless connection for banking.
