Money overseas?

Travel Info
I am going on my first European trip this summer. I was curious whats the best way to pay for things aside from a hotel, railways, flight, etc... I mean the basic everyday things like dinner and shopping. Travellers checks? A huge wad of cash? Or rely on my credit cards and debit card most of the time? I'd like to mainly use my credit cards and debit cards so I don't have to have a wad I can lose.

If it helps I will visit major cities in Germany, Belgium, France, and the UK. Thank you

Travel Tips
Rely on your credit cards for most larger expenses, and you will find plenty of ATM's to draw cash from, using your credit or debit card, for smaller expenses. Source(s): I am Belgian, and travelling a lot across Europe.
