Question about Schengen Visa? |
Travel Info I have a valid Schengen Visa. I got it at the French Consulate because I am going to a backpacking tour and will visit France as my first destination. However, my plan is changed recently and I will enter Spain first. Is my visa still valid in this situation? If not, what do I need to do in this case? Thank you... Travel Tips Yes, many people fly to their destinations making connection in a third country and go through border control in the first Schengen country they enter into. It does noy matter, whether it's just a connection or a short stay, like in your case. Source(s): personal experience Other Travel Tips i think so...normally they write 1 entry + 1 transit for the turist visa...in case you don't flight directly to france, in this case. Once you're in the "schengen territory", as you may know, there are no borders so there's no problem. Hope i could help maybe you should call the french consulate and ask them According to the official web site of the German Foreign Office a Schengen-Visa SHOULD be issue by the country which is your main destination; but it doesn't matter where you will enter or leave the Schengen-Area. It's almost like a single country for travelling, and nobody will keep an eye on your schedule / plans. |
