Others Because the standard of living is much lower than we are used to in the west. When you pay your staff one potato a week for wages, you can afford to let your hotel rooms go at a cheap price. The Western European economies are more developed. Cost of living is higher in the western and Scandinavian countries. These countries are just 16 to 17 years out of communist control so there cost of living is in line with there economic development. The economics of these countries are not so developed yet and the workers work like slaves, their salaries are very low. I cannot imagine how they can survive with those wages. Visited some of the eastern countries and read newspapers. That麓s how I know. |
