Travel Info What are the best cheap airlines to get around Europe? I've heard of RyanAir and EasyJet.? Travel Tips It really depends on where you want to go. If you ever need to go from Liverpool (UK) to Nice (France) then Easyjet is your answre. If you ever want to go from Stansted to Toulon, then RyanAir is the only solution. Same goes for SkyEurope if you want to go from Paris to Bratislava. I've never flown Ryanair because Stansted is nowhere near any of my friends, family or buisness contacts. On the other hand, my son lives in Manchester and my mother in Nice, so Jet2.com is very useful to him to visit his grandmother. None of the major airlines flies that particular route and it's nice to be able to fly direct. The best thing to do is to check out the web site of each airline and see if it ties up with your itinerary. Bear in mind that the low cost airlines provide a much lower level of service. No free drinks or sandwiches. Some charge extra for everything they can think of, such as registering your bags, with reductions for registering online. Their prices vary from one day to the next, so it's generally best to book early online. Others I don't know about easyjet but you'll see more of europe with ryanAir coz they won't get you anywhere near your destination! Both of them are cheap and some of their popular routes, the regular airlines also offer fares to compete (Easy Jet is in Berlin, Nice, Geneva, Barcelona, and a few other places). Bambu Air is also one that serves Florence. sata is nice |
