How do I get from Pardubice to Prague via train? |
Travel Info I'm going to Czech Republic in a few days time. Wonder how can I get from Pardubice to Prague via train? Please provide me with the details like where to get the tickets and which stop to alight. How long is the whole trip and the cost? Thank you. Travel Tips Hi, as Pardubice lies on a main rail corridor, there are tons of direct fast trains between Pardubice and Prague. You can buy tickets right at the ticket counter ("Jizdenky") at the train station in Pardubice. The train will make at least one stop in Kolin, but may also stop at "Praha - Liben" before going to "Praha - hlavni nadrazi". If you want to go downtown, which I presume you do, get off at hlavni nadrazi ("main station"). The ride takes a little over an hour. Cost depends on which train you take -- if you get on an Intercity you will need to pay the surcharge (60 crowns?), otherwise it will put you back 130 crowns one way. If you will be returning to Pardubice by the next day it is cheaper to get a return ticket (zpatecni jizdenka). Have fun!
