Are cell phones really that expensive in europe? |
Travel Info Im looking at the new phenomenon to me "sim cards" and while I now understand how they work I got a nosebleed looking at their "very reasonable" rates... "as low as .49 per minute", etc. Here in the US you would have to call guam to pay that much. Here in the US I pay $80 per month for 1800 daytime and 2500 nighttime minutes. That works out to be around .02 cents per minute. Do you really have to pay .49 per minute?? There has to be another way! Others it depends on what country and which company u use. everyone is different. no they dont have the free nites and weekends like the states but they do have plans u can buy. u just have to shop around. nooooooo Go to Finland -it is cheaper there in the country of Nokia -and there is lot of competition:many choices! i know in ukraine it costs per minute 40 cents. and cell phone cost a little more than in u.s maybe 50$ more it depends in what country!!! |
