Daughter going to Spain in August & her passport expires in September. Will it be valid please? |
Travel Info She will be returning from Malaga on 23rd August and travelling in both directions with British Airways Travel Tips It expires in September so she will be ok.. Take care.. Bcn_mimosa from Barcelona... Others She will have to have a new passport. Passports need six months validity from the return date of travel. She won't be able to travel on that passport Somebody on here might know the right answer but on this you should probably call a passport office or the state department to get a correct answer for sure. They require 6 months left on passport on date of travel. If she gets a new passport the time she has left on her existing passport will be added onto her new passport. Better get in quick as passports are going up in September or October I think. The usual stipulation is that the passport should be valid for at least six months after the return. Check with your travel agent. No sorry, it has to be valid for six months over the travelling date. It'd help where she'd be travelling from to Spain. I doubt it's going to be valid, because it must be 6 months before to get a new passport. You should have hers done quick and do the fastest way if possible. I am assuming your daughter is coming from the UK. So here's the website: http://www.passport.gov.uk/index.asp... Contact information: http://www.passport.gov.uk/contact_index... Hope this helps. And good luck. |
