European Trains?

Travel Info
Is there a site for European trains prices? I am planning a trip between France and Austria but most sites do not tell about the prices of tickets, just the schedule.
I need info about prices in case of students and group tickets..any ideas?

Travel Tips
I've just taken a look at the French rail web site.
(you should stop talking about Europe. Remember, it's lots of separate countries, not States in a federation).

You didn't say where you wanted to go. So I looked up Paris to Vienna. The train takes 14 hours. The price is around 鈧?70 to 鈧?00 for full price one way (you didn't mention whether you were eligible for reduction for young person, senior citizen).
You might also like to check out the skyeurope web site. They are a low cost airline and do a very good deal for Paris to Vienna, much cheaper than the train! Source(s): www.voyages-sncf.com

Other Travel Tips
Look, if possible, try to get Interrail travel pass. With one pass you can travel through Europe on almost all trains, whenever you like.

If you are a non-European resident, then go to Eurail.

www.eurail.com
This site can provide an estimate of costs and schedules: http://www.eurorailways.com/ I've never used the site, so I don't know how accurate it is. Most of the national railroad sites don't price international trips, but you can find schedules. The German site can be used to check travel options anywhere in Europe: http://reiseauskunft.bahn.de/bin/query.e...

This site is oriented for travel from England to Europe, but you can get a feel for what to expect re fares: http://www.seat61.com/austria.htm...
They don't want you to know. I presume to go from France to Austria you will go through Switzerland and you can get the price for just the Swiss leg here: www.rail.ch
