How much spending money for Spanish Hols?? |
Travel Info Hi we are 2 families of 5 each fgamily going on a 2 week hols to Salou, Spain at end of September. What are the costs approx of eating out, buying drinks, food, transport etc out there?? We are not sure how much to budget for etc... We are buying our Port Venutra tickets befoe we leave so it will be just spening money for transport, eating out etc... Thank you for any help Travel Tips Hi I live in Spain (Costa Blanca Alicante) A rough guide per person in euros. English breakfast from 2-50 to 4-50. Chinese 3course meal including 1 alcoholic or soft drink 5-00 upwards. Steak meal 16-00 upwards. Indian 15-00 upwards. Beer 2-50 per pint or 1-40 per half Spirits 2-00 soft drinks or mixers 1-80 General food shopping is a lot cheaper than the UK but English products are a lot dearer. Taxi's are expensive Buses are very cheap. Car hire from 159-00 per week upwards depending on season. weather forcast Sun sun sun and more sun. The last time I was in Spain (some 20 years ago now) the prices were around half those in the UK. I doubt that's any help since that was then, this is now. Have a lovely holiday. it all depends on your budget, and how lavish a holiday you want, i dont think it is that much cheaper in spain than it is here in the uk, so if you work it out in english money you will know how many euros you want, hope you have good time anyway, around 拢2000 each family. eating out for a burger chips, beer/coke around 10euro each, in pubs a pint costs around 3euros, coke 2euros. If you are eating out a lot, I would guess 拢100 per day per family. i would say at least 拢2000 |
