5-7 Days at the Black Sea?

A friend of mine asked me today If I would consider joining her for a week at the black sea. I have never been and it has been a few years for her so I was wondering if anyone had any ideas of how much this would cost hotel, food ect.....

It depends on how expensive you like to travel. At this time (before July 1st) accommodations in a hotel on the Romanian Black Sea coast could be between $ 35/day ( a double room in 2star hotel in the cheaper, southern resorts) to $ 150 - $ 240/day ( a suite in a 4star hotel in the upscale Mamaia resort).
Of course, there are also guesthouses and motels that sometimes have lower prices; not to mention that many locals rent rooms in their houses, relatively cheap, during the summer.

Note that after July 1st (July / August is , naturally, the height of the holiday season on the Black Sea) accommodation prices will grow significantly, maybe with more than 50 %.

Eating all meals ( breakfast, lunch, dinner) in the hotel's restaurants will probably cost you $15 - $30 per day, but there all sorts of alternatives (smaller cheaper local restaurants, fast food places, even buying food stuffs from the market). depends on where are you going... i've only been to Bulgaria and had so much fun. Their prices are still low and have a great night life!!

It all depends on the country you are going to, and what you are going to spend money on. I can only tell you about Bulgaria being about 75% the cost of living compared with England, although even then it depends where and what you eat or buy. It can be cheaper or more expensive dependant on what you want.
