How do i find jobs in Europe? |
Travel Info Does anyone know about any websites that help you find a job out there and a place to stay? Preferably hungary but anywhere in europe. Thanks x Travel Tips You can get a job in Europe without having to get a visa, but i gets quite complicated once you start looking outside of Europe. The best website i have found is www.anyworkanywhere.com. The thing is, if you're just looking for a bar job or something like that, a lot of places don't advertise so if you can afford to do so, and don't mind the lack of security in doing so, the best thing to do would be to actually go out there and just ask in all the bars and restaurants if they have any jobs. I'm off to Turkey in 3 weeks to work, so i know how appealing the idea is!! Good luck on whatever you decide to do :-) Others Well, you generally cannot just move from a non EU nation and find a job (legally anyway). There are various legal hoops you must jump through, mainly a work permit scheme type of program that each nation runs on it's own. I would check the countries' immigration sites first and foremost. Eures is the main one http://ec.europa.eu/eures Anywork anywhere is good too http://www.anyworkanywhere.com/... Teaching english will be your highest paid asset in eastern europe so try TEFL (teach english as a foreign language) websites if you want to go down that road Be wary about just going and looking for work on the spot, especially if you dont have a lot of cash. It can and does go wrong as much as it works out. Its a gamble. I found www.eurobrussels.com the best for internatinal jobs. It's mainly GO and NGO positions, but there is dozens of possibilities every week! |
