Is Italy fun?

Travel Info
Is Italy a good vacation? What are the names of the good hotels and where are they located? What is there to do in Italy fun for kids and adults?

Travel Tips
italy is amazing. if you ever have the opportunity to go, take advantage of it. the people are amazing, the food is amazing, everything is just like the pictures.

if you want a true experience, stay in local hotels close to the metro stops and train stations, and don't just hit up the huge cities. rome and pisa are wonderful, and you should visit them for all their history etc, but try to check out some of the smaller towns. my favorite were bologna and ravenna. ravenna is full of history and it is famous for its mosaics.

hotels: we stayed in the Hotel Victoria in Rome. it was a bit pricey, but in a prime location and the hotel itself was beautiful. it was about a 15 minute walk down the Via Venetto to the metro stop.

The Hotel Jolly in Ravenna was so cute! and it was right in the middle of everything: shops, museums, food.

If your kids are young, they probably have to be pretty mature to handle this kind of trip because there is so much history and architecture, unless you're wanting to find an amusement park which you can do here in the U.S.

don't be surprised if you start feeling like you're in a movie, because that is just how impressive italy is.

it's not only fun but it's best country in the world I am not italian but had the chance to visit rome, venice and other cities in italy and i really did enjoy the trip so don't give up on going.
AN AMAZING VACATION!!! So many interesting places to go! for the best pizza you've ever had in your life, you've got to hit Napoli... I don't know why it's so good... but you've never tasted anything like it in your life.

Florence or Firenze is INCREDIBLE for children and adults alike, as is Rome because of all the street performers and interesting statues and other art! and in Rome you get to pose with a Gladiator outside of the Colliseum!

Have you looked into cruising the Mediterranean? I just did a Disney cruise with my family that was FANTASTIC!!! That way you get to see a lot of Italy's Hotspots including Pompeii, Naples, Rome, Florence, and Pisa and don't have to worry about finding the good hotels (which can get pretty expensive)
is Italy fun? only if your in the mafia.
fun for kids and adults? check out the wine groves where all the problems are buried.
Italy is brilliant. Just go, see Rome, and Florence for sure, and there are so many beautiful seaside towns, you cannot go wrong.
