Booking a hotel?? |
Travel Info me and my boyfriend are going to edinburgh for new year and want to book a hotel for the two nights, online it asks for your credit card details straight away does this mean we have to pay now or do we pay after our stay when leaving? or do they ask for details to pay a reservation price or something? Travel Tips They generally ask you to pay the whole price of your reservation whan you book, unless it is stated otherwise. Read the whole description of the offer. If nothing is mentioned then you pay the whole price at once. If you want a recommentation, a very trustful site to make your booking is expedia. I'm giving you the link: http://www.expedia.co.uk/ Have Fun! Others You pay on arival, they only take your card details for security, if you do not turn up on the date you have booked it for, then they will charge you.... They won't take anything at the moment. But they use this as insurance. People do skip out on bills, or don't turn up because they find something better and can't be bothered to cancel. ring the hotel its good to talk they always ask for your credit card information. Most hotels does not charge your card until you leave and if you cancel you'll be charge a fee. it all depends on their policies. Normal this is just for a reservation, But if your going to stay in edinburgh checkout this hotel its lovely, i stayed in the one in dundee its really romantic . http://www.apexhotels.co.uk/ |
