Is it a good idea to ....?

Travel Info
to take a short course in one of the universities of Europe, like a summer course, or a workshop, to be able to see the country, and soak up the culture?

Travel Tips
Absolutely! Go for it.
My daughter did a summer course at Cambridge, England, before her senior year of high school and loved it!

She took three classes, had free time in Cambridge, met kids from all over the world, and took day trips into London. The drinking age there is younger and there were parties and get-togethers regularly. I'm sure I don't have the full story, being her Mom!

Some of the kids she met there have come through where we live and visited, and she has had offers to go see them.

Every new experience (especially education and travel) is worth doing!
Others
I think that is a fabulous idea! You would get to see lots of new things and experience what is it like to live there. I would even suggest going for a longer period of time so you have more time to explore and even get a job. Good Luck!
Yes, I encourage it.
Definitely! Every new experience is worth gold!
Do try to make it a longer stay than just a couple of weeks, so you can really get to know the place and the people.

Good luck and have fun!
:)
