For flights, check in 3.5 hours for London airports this summer. Add transport time to the airport (1 hour?). Flight time (1h, 10m?). Upon arrival, add transport time from LUX to city centre (1 hour to fetch bags and get transport sorted?). It's pretty much a wash on flying vs. train in this case. Car estimates I see are based on no traffic, and if you've ever been in a car to/from/in/around London, you know that this is not realistic. Lux-Fra train 3h, 49m. Get to airport (30 minutes?), check in, security and at gate 20 minutes before departure (1.5 hour total?), flight time (40 mins.?), fetch baggage and train to city centre (1 hour?). Total flying = 3h, 40m approx. Again, nearly a wash vs. train. To me, train seems a lot less hassle, and more enjoyable way to travel in this case. Others flying with a warpdrive ull pass the countries close to 100 times i think but... u did said the FASTEST way not the fastest AND most accurate wya :D Flying from London (LCY, LGW, LHR, LTN, STN) (LON) - Luxembourg (LUX) - 1 hours 10 minutes Flying Luxemburg - Frankfurt airport 40 minutes Thinking about the time you have to spend at the airport.. will be faster if you drive ;) Driving from London - Luxembourg 6 hours, 54 minutes Driving from Luxembourg - Frankfurt (airport) 2 hours, 27 minutes |
